Not in his club's plans any longer, the Latvian forward will continue his career in Germany.

It has long been known that SC Bern is trying to find a new spot for Kaspars Daugavins. They have found one in the Sauerland - the DEL's Iserlohn Roosters will take the forward off their hands. His contract with the Bears terminated, Daugavins has signed a one-year deal in Iserlohn.

"I know my new coach and I know that we will have a team that will fight for every inch in every game. Nothing less is my ambition as well, because of course we want to play successful hockey and fight for the playoffs", Daugavins comments on his move.

As there is now an open import spot on the roster, SC Bern will attempt to fill that with another forward, team manager Andrew Ebbett communicates in his column. There would be some candidates.
