As the Boxers de Bordeaux recently announced, Loïk Poudrier will stay with them for another year. It will be the third season in the Ligue Magnus for the former member of HC Ajoie and HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. Earlier this year, Arcinfo wrote that he was in advanced contract negotiations with Sierre.
The 27-year-old French-Canadian dual-citizen suited up 146 times in the Swiss League from 2013 until 2016, recording 24 goals and 36 assists. For Bordeaux, he put up ten goals and 18 assists in 41 games this past season.
