Five teams of the Spengler Cup 2019 are already known.

Already last year HC Oceláři Třinec spent their time between Christmas and New Year in Davos, but the Spengler Cup experience ended early for them. They were defeated by HC Davos in the quarterfinal. At the upcoming 93rd edition of the Spengler Cup, they will make another run for the prestigious trophy.
Oceláři Třinec is the fifth confirmed team for the Spengler Cup 2019. Besides host HCD and Team Canada, also HC Ambrì-Piotta and the KHL's Salavat Yulaev Ufa will take part.
