Simon Knak played his second season for the Portland Winterhawks this season. Knak was loaned to HC Davos (three goals, five assists in 25 games) at the beginning of the season, as the WHL postponed its season start due to Covid-19.
Knak is a product of EHC Kloten’s organization and left the Swiss League team in 2019 in order to join the Winterhawks. This season, the forward, who also captained Switzerland’s U20 national team, put up 16 goals and 13 assists in 24 games for the Winterhawks.
