According to Maffioletti, the future of HCV Martigny in the Swiss League is at high risk. Reportedly, the club is considering the possibility of withdrawing the team from the Swiss League after only one season.

High costs and little revenue are putting a strain on the club and the Swedish investors that had made possible the arrival of head coach Anders Olsson would also no longer be willing to put in the necessary capital. Additionally, only three players are under contract for the upcoming season according to information gathered by the journalist.

The club is expected to make a final decision in the coming days.
