The 22-year-old defenseman is a product of HC Ambrì-Piotta's organization and played for the U20 team as well as the HCB Ticino Rockets last season.
He did, however, suit up for the Rockets on loan. In 45 regular-season games for them last season, he recorded one goal and one assist.
