Tyler Benson will thus be able to replace Teemu Rautiainen, who is expected to be out of the GCK Lions' lineup until the end of the year due to a foot injury.
The Canadian forward was selected 32nd overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. During the 2019-20 season, Benson played seven games in the NHL, recording one point. He also suited up in 47 AHL games, putting up nine goals and 27 assists.
