A Swiss-Swedish citizen, Eric Schneller grew up in the organization of the GCK/ZSC Lions, where he played until 2021. Schneller then moved to Sweden where he joined Rögle BK. There, he suited up for the U18 and U20 squads of the Swedish club. Reportedly, his next stop will be Genève-Servette HC.
In 61 games with the U18 squad, Schneller scored five goals and collected 15 assists, while in 57 games with the U20 squad, he put up three goals and six assists. The youngster also participated in two editions of the U18 World Championship with the Swiss national team, recording three points in five games.
