Lausanne HC announced some changes in their organization today, including John Fust becoming their new team manager. The head coaching position is thus vacant.

However, according to Blick, there are rumblings that John Fust's successor as a head coach has already been found: the new man behind the bench is supposedly Geoff Ward.

The 60-year-old Canadian can look back on a long coaching career. For the past 15 seasons (with the exception of the 2014-15 season), Ward has been consistently working for NHL organizations either as an assistant coach (Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, Anaheim Ducks) or as a head coach (Calgary Flames).
