Arttu Routsalainen was qualified by the Buffalo Sabres and would have been eligible for salary arbitration. He did, however, decide not to elect for it, as Rachel Hopmayer of Spectrum News 1 BUF reported earlier this week.
Klaus Zaugg (Watson) reported at the beginning of July that Arttu Ruotsalainen and EHC Kloten had agreed to terms. The forward, who was never drafted, signed a three-year contract with the Buffalo Sabres in 2019. In the last two seasons, he played 35 games for the Sabres and 59 games for their AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans.
