The finalist might not have any of their import players returning for next season.

Carl Klingberg is not likely to receive a contract extension

EV Zug's Dennis Everberg, Brian Flynn, Carl Klingberg and Garrett Roe all have expiring deals. As the Neue Zürcher Zeitung writes, there's a good chance none of the four will be on the Bulls' roster for the start of the new season in September. The same goes for the only import in possession of a contract, David McIntyre. Not really able to make a difference in the final and seldom convincing throughout the past year, Zug might be looking for a team interested in signing the Canadian.

In Everberg's case, the Bulls' willingness to extend his contract has already been reported, but there are family-related reasons that could make the Swede return to his home country. Roe is said to be courted by the ZSC Lions and might leave in their direction.

As for Flynn and Klingberg, they both did not have the most impressing final series. The latter might never have been able to fully recover from his cervical injury.

In the Swiss League, EVZ Academy would like to keep around Pontus Widerström under the right terms.
