As Teleclub-journalist Patrick Andrey reports on Twitter, both Kaspars Daugavins (photo) and Lennart Petrell are probably not going to wear the Eagles' jersey again in the next season. Whereas rumors are circulating that Daugavins might leave either for the KHL or the NHL, there is no word on possible destinations for Petrell, yet.
Both import-forwards have combined for 81 scoring points during this season. Kaspars Daugavins contributed 23 goals and 34 assists and Lennart Petrell six goals and 18 assists.
In addition, there is still a questionmark behind forwards Juraj Simek, whose contract includes an out-clause for the KHL, and Denis Hollenstein. Although Hollenstein said that he will stay with GSHC some time ago, rumors persist that he might return to the Kloten Flyers, where his father Felix is acting as head coach.
