According to the Thurgauer Zeitung, Andreas Döpfner, Sebastian Bengtsson, and Sebastiano Soracreppa should be able to return to the lineup for the playoff opener. Still, several players are injured, among them Kevin Etter, whose shoulder injury is, however, not as severe as anticipated.

HC Thurgau will, however, receive reinforcement from the National League: HC Fribourg-Gottéron's Kevin Etter (once he has recovered), Kevin Nicolet, and Loïc Galley will all be available to the Lions. It also looks like HC Lugano's Alessandro Villa will join them for the playoff run.

Whether EHC Kloten's Matthew Kellenberger, Kevin Lindemann, and Joel Marchon will suit up for them remains to be seen.
