According to the Luzerner Zeitung, Marc Michaelis left the game after a having been checked to the head by Lausanne HC's Fabian Heldner. While Michaelis could leave the ice without help, he was unable to continue to play.
Sven Leuenberger was only on the ice for about two minutes and did not finish the game. Asked about Michaelis and Leuenberger, head coach Dan Tangnes only said that they are injured.
Tobias Geisser did not play in the third period and, according to the same source, supposedly had to go to the hospital after the game.
