The Dragons won their first Champions Hockey League game yesterday, but it came at the cost of two finger injuries.

Gaétan Jobin will be sidelined for about four to six weeks due to a broken finger, as Frank Stettler (Freiburger Nachrichten) writes. Fellow forward Marcus Sörensen also suffered a finger injury. In his case, further exams are still required, and the length of his absence is yet to be determined.

HC Fribourg-Gottéron faced off versus Ilves Tampere for their first Champions Hockey League game of the season yesterday. The Dragons came out victorious.
