HC Thurgau's Niki Altorfer out for up to three months

As the Thurgauer Zeitung and the Walliser Bote report, Niki Altorfer's season is over after a check from Visp's defenseman Marc Steiner. Altorfer is going to be sidelined for two to three months. His time with HC Thurgau thus has come to an early end.

Next season, the 28-year-old forward is going to suit up for EHC Kloten. "I assume I'll be ready again for the preparation with Kloten in summer," Altorfer explains to the Walliser Bote.
