From the clubs of the National League, the "Tre Kronor" has selected four defensemen and four forwards. The defenders are Henrik Tömmernes (Genève-Servette HC), Emil Djuse (SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers), Niklas Hansson and Christian Djoos (both EV Zug). The forwards are Mathias Bromé (HC Davos), Jesper Olofsson (SCL Tigers), Carl Klingberg and Anton Lander (both EV Zug).
The Karjala Cup is going to take place from November 10 to 14 in Helsinki, Finland. Sweden will first face the Czech Republic (Nov. 10), then Russia (Nov. 13), and finally the host of the tournament.
