The contract of HC Sierre's coach Dany Gelinas expires at the end of this season. He wanted to extend it a year ago, but things have changed. "Last season, it was out of the question to consider another place. Today, as I still have not heard back from my directors, I have to be clear with my situation", he tells Le Nouvelliste.
He has forbidden his agent to call him every time there would be a new option. "My mind is entirely occupied with the present. He is dealing with the future. I understand the uncertainty around the future of HC Sierre. But my current position is uncomfortable and I do not like it."
Gelinas has been with Sierre since 2018. In his first year, they managed to get promoted to the Swiss League.
