The 18-year-old forward is currently practicing with the National League team but might extend his stay in Switzerland.

Knak was drafted by the Portland Winterhawks and is set to play in the WHL this season. However, the start of the 2020-21 season has been delayed from September 21 to December 4.

According to the Südostschweiz, team manager Raeto Raffainer is trying to obtain a license for Knak. However, in the end, it will all depend on whether the Winterhawks allow Knak to play for Davos.

In other news, all employees of HC Davos, who earn more than CHF 148,000 per year, have agreed to waive - for the time being - a quarter of their salary.

HC Davos will also stick to their hiring freeze, as Raeto Raffainer tells the same source, even though they had interest from Mirco Müller's and Philip Kurashev's camp: "Of course, as a team manager, you want to make those transfers when the opportunity arises, but that would not be responsible in the current situation."
