NLA - We are two months away from the 2014/15 season and HC Fribourg-Gottéron has just publicised its annual report. It was a good year for the Dragons on the sportive side of things, however, this did not translate to the financial side of the buisness.

CHL - Each year, every team in the Canadian Hockey League has the option to choose up to two players from outside North America to add to its roster. Four Swiss players have been drafted at this year's CHL import draft.

NLA - In a mutual agreement, the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and Sandro Gmür have terminated their contract, which would have been valid until 2015. Gmür is looking for a new challenge.

NLB - In an interview with TV channel Kanal9, EHC Visp's 41-year-old ex-NHL star Alexei Kovalev announced that he has decided to put an end to his career as a professional hockey player.

SWISS ICE HOCKEY - As the Tages Anzeiger reports, Swedish ex-NHL referee Marcus Vinnerborg has signed a multi-year contract with the SIHF and will blow his whistle in the National League in the future.
