Roman Josi and Damien Brunner will both arrive at the camp next Tuesday. Head coach Sean Simpson will decide at a later time, though, whether or not the two NHL cracks will already play in the two preparation games against the Czech Republic in Neuchâtel and Basel.

Despite the long season in the NHL both players are ready to help out the team at the Worlds. “Ice hockey is my passion and if I get the call to play for the Swiss national team I am always happy to be there“, Roman Josi confirms. And Damien Brunner adds that he is looking forward to seeing many familiar faces again.

Also defenseman Yannick Weber has been cleared to play by his NHL team. He, however, will join the Swiss team a week later and arrive at camp on April 30.
