Earlier this week, it had been reported that Arno Del Curto, who has a running contract with HCD until the end of next season, would only be willing to take the job as head coach of the Swiss national team in addition to coaching HC Davos.
But the Federation was open to try and find a compromise when discussions with the coach started this week. But now it seems as if no agreement could be reached between Del Curto adn the Swiss Federation.
Their idea would have been that Arno Del Curto is allowed to coach both HCD and the national team during the next season. However, he would have to agree now to step down in Davos and only coach the national team as of 2015 for the following three years.
