The thirteenth season in the dress of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds will be Danick Daucourt's last: "We have to make choices. I assessed the situation from all angles and everything points to the fact that it is no longer possible to continue," the 29-year-old says to Arcinfo. "My family and my professional life are no longer compatible with that of a hockey player in the NLB."

Danick Daucourt has played for HCC since 2002 and completed a total of 521 games for them in the National League B (twelve goals, 43 assists). This term, the native of La Chaux-de-Fonds was named their captain for the first time.
