The Berner Zeitung reported this morning, that the Russian investors have lost interest in the Martigny-based team and will abandon them sooner rather than later. Nazheskin, deputy chairman of the board of directors, denies that: "I do not know where these rumors came from, but they have no foundation. We will finish this season. I wrote to the league to reassure them. We have not invested as much for several years to give up today. A departure of the Russian investors is not happening right now."
However, the 34-year-old Russian admits that they need to lead internal discussions about the future of the team: "It's true that the attendance rate has raised some questions. Is the area really interested in the team? We will need to have discussions about that in order to find solutions."
