Talbot explains that throughout this season, the Boston Bruins put him on waivers three times and no team was interested in his services. Accordingly, it is time to face reality and to consider options outside of the NHL.

This season thus far, Talbot played 36 NHL games, scoring six points, for the Boston Bruins before being reassigned to their AHL affiliate team, the Providence Bruins. In 14 games for them thus far, Talbot has registered 13 points (five goals and eight assists). (bsc)
