Stephan joined Zug in spring of 2014 after having played in Geneva for several years. His contract with the Bulls was officially announced in October of 2013 after months of speculation.

Ever since then, the 31-year-old has appeared in 80 NLA games for EV Zug. They seem to be very pleased with the performance of their goaltender and have accordingly extended his contract early on. (bsc)

UPDATE As the Neue Luzerner Zeitung reports, Tobias Stephan might not only be part of EVZ's roster until 2019, but until 2020, as there is an option for an additional year in his new contract with the Bulls. (tme) - 5 December 2015, 8:26 AM
