NLA - Christian Dubé is facing a difficult task as HC Fribourg-Gottéron's new team manager. Pretty much his entire roster is locked up, but as he tells La Liberté, he has informed some players that their services will no longer be needed.

The former forward did not reveal any names, but according to the newspaper, those players are Thibaut Monnet, Joel Kwiatkowski, Timo Helbling, Adam Hasani and Martin Ness. If they do not find a new home by the next season, Dubé cannot guarantee them ice time.

Furthermore, the Canadian confirms that they are interested in Genève-Servette HC's Goran Bezina: "Yes, we are interested in him. We talked with his agent, but for now we cannot make him a concrete offer because we do not have the money to hire him."

They also have already found their new third line center, but according to Dubé, they have to wait until they can free up some money. (mso)
