The native of Samedan made his debut in Switzerland's highest league with HC Davos in season 1996/97. Since then, Sandro Rizzi has completed a total of 870 games in the colours of blue and yellow, in which he scored 116 goals and 132 assists.
Rizzi, who has never moved to another team, was able to celebrate the Swiss Championship title with the ibexes in 2002, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011.
