The 31-year-old forward just couldn't find his game this year. Over the years, he was always thrown back by injuries. He suffered from multiple concussions, an Achilles tendon tear and a lot of other injuries, which he gathered over his thirteen seasons in the National League A.

He is now ready for something else: "I was able to experience beautiful moments as a hockey player and I have met interesting people. But now the time has come to prepare the next step."

Duri Camichel played almost 700 games in the National League A. He started out with the EV Zug in 2000, where he stayed until the end of the 2011/2012 season. His last four season with Zug, he was wearing the "C" and therefore a leader in the locker room. In 2012 he changed gears and joined the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, where he stayed until he dissolved his contract earlier this month, he would have been signed until 2015. In almost 700 games, he has scored 267 points.
