Defenseman Julien Vauclair will have to sit out at least for tomorrow's game. The 36-year-old left the ice injured in Game 1 after a heavy check by Geneva's Jim Slater.
On a more positive note for Lugano, both forward Fredrik Pettersson and defender Lorenz Kienzle might return to their lineup for Game 2. Both hit the ice in today's optional training session. (tme)
