The 22-year-old defenseman is indeed on EHCB's wish list for next season and Villard is confident that they will come to terms with Steiner pretty soon. As for their import-players, EHC Biel is still looking for solutions, since Ahren Spylo is the only player, they have already locked up for the next season.

"We never spoke with Jason Williams", says Villard about the rumors surrounding the HC Ambrì-Piotta forward. "As for Jacob Micflikier - it's complicated. He has a huge salary in Lugano, so for now it is not on track. We would like to keep Beaudoin and/or Umicevic, but we will have to see what their claims are."

As for Kevin Schläpfer, Villard confirmed that he will stay the head coach of EHC Biel and that they plan to have him around for the time, when they will move into their new arena.
