According to the Journal de Jura (relayed by SwissHabs), Anthony Huguenin will not receive a new contract from EHC Biel. Stanislav Horansky, on the other hand, will likely stay with the Seelanders.

25-year-old Huguenin has not played a lot this season (two assists in 13 games) and was even sent to HC La Chaux-de-Fonds for a while back in November. It does thus not come as a surprise that the defenseman will have to leave the team at the end of the season.

As for Horansky, the 22-year-old forward is currently in his third season with the Seelanders and has scored four goals and two assists in 26 games this season thus far. Furthermore, as already reported previously, Biel is also negotiating with Fabian Lüthi and Dave Sutter. Discussions with the Lüthi, however, are more advanced than with Sutter.

Negotiations with Benoît Jecker, Mike Lundin, and Marc-Antoine Pouliot, on the other hand, are currently on hold, as their fate depends on who will coach the Seelanders in the upcoming season.
