Only six appeareances for EHC Biel this season thus far, without scoring any points. Defenseman Anthony Huguenin seems no longer to figure in the plans of the Seelanders' head coach Kevin Schläpfer.

As Huguenin's player agent reveals to the Journal du Jura (relayed by Planète Hockey), he has been looking at the market for quite some time. Even though several teams showed interest in him, according to the agent, there is still nothing concrete yet. Alternatively, the 24-year-old might also consider playing on loan with an NLB team in order to gain more ice time.

Huguenin, whose contract will expire in April next year, returned to Biel in summer 2015 after having played for HC Fribourg-Gottéron in the 2014-15 season. Last term, the defenseman suited up in 55 games for the Seelanders, scoring 25 points (three goals, 22 assists).
