Vollmin had already been in a try-out with Langenthal this past December, according to the same source, and the coaches liked what they saw. The defenseman confirmed his signing to Ryser, saying that he is looking forward to Langenthal.

The 22-year-old defenseman played for Babson College (NCAA III) for the last four years. This season, he has scored four goals and ten assists in 27 games. He is in possession of a Swiss passport, so he will not count against the import-player contingent. (mso)

UPDATE SC Langenthal confirms signing of Mike Vollmin. He has signed a one-year contract and will thus stay until the end of the 2016-17 season. The forward will join the team for their summer training. (mso) - 22 March 2016, 11:31 AM
