The 31-year-old American defender was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the fourth round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and subsequently appeared in 270 NHL games for them, the Minnesota Wild and the Ottawa Senators.

In the past three years of his career, Lundin suited up for Barys Astana in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), where he managed to put up 24 goals and 74 assists in a total of 190 games.

With the signing of the American (one-year contract), the Seelanders' import-player quartet for the upcoming season is now complete. The other foreigners are Robbie Earl, Jacob Micflickier and Toni Rajala. (rlu)
