Import-defenseman Jim Vandermeer will stay with the Kloten Flyers for another year until the end of season 2014/2015. In addition, the Flyers have signed Philippe Schelling for two more years.

Jim Vandermeer joined the Kloten Flyers at the beginning of the current season and has one goal and six assists in 23 games. The 33-year old Canadian has played in over 400 NHL games and scored a total of 105 points.

The 28-year old Philippe Schelling, who was a youth player in the organization of the ZSC Lions, is in his third year with the Flyers. This season, the defenseman has already tallied two goals and three assists.
