As 24 heures reports, Lausanne HC will have to play in exile, while the Patinoire de Malley is being renovated from 2017 until 2019. The temporary arena will be situated in the old slaughterhouse of the City of Lausanne.

The provisional hockey arena is planned to have room for 6600 spectators, 1500 of which would be standing room. Construction should start in January 2017. However, while the location permit already has been granted, Lausanne HC is still waiting for the building permit to come through as well. (abu)
