The Kloten Flyers announce the signing of 25yr-old American forward Peter Mueller (ex-Florida) and 33yr-old Canadian defender Jim Vandermeer (photo) for the upcoming season.

Vandermeer and Mueller will arrive in Kloten in the next couple of days. It is not yet sure, if they are already eligible to play games at the beginning of the season. Both players have signed a one-year contract with the Flyers, whereas Mueller's contract additionally includes an NHL-option.

So far, Peter Mueller completed a total of 297 NHL games (160 points) with the Phoenix Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche and the Florida Panthers.

Jim Vandermeer, who already played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Chicago Blackhawks and the Calgary Flames, has an experience of 461 NHL games (105  points).
