Fribourg-Gottéron is courting ex-ZSC forward Jeff Tambellini

According to La Liberté, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's management has already confirmed the rumor and also makes no secret of being in communication with the player and his agent.

Fribourg plans to start with four import-players on board into the new season (3 forwards, 1 defender). Greg Mauldin, Marc-Antoine Pouliot are already set - thus, there is one more space left for another foreign forward. Will it be Jeff Tambellini?

Before he joined Swedish MODO in 2013, Tambellini has played 92 games with the ZSC Lions and was able to celebrate the Swiss Championship in 2012, before his contract was prematurely dissolved at the end of the very same year.

This season so far, the 29yr-old Canadian has appeared in 34 games with MODO, scoring 11 goals and 4 assists.
