EV Zug's defenseman Raphael Diaz has been sanctioned due to a slashing against SC Bern's Alain Berger in the 11th minute of last night's Game 1 of the playoff quarterfinal series. Diaz received a two-minute penalty on the ice, but left the ice injured thereafter.
Just like Diaz, also EHC Olten's defenseman Dan Weisskopf received a game misconduct penalty. This due to a boarding against EHC Kloten's Simon Kindschi in the 5th minute of Monday's Game 5.
