There is still a chance for Arosa to get promoted if the Ticino Rockets throw in the towel. For Schrepfer, however, this is not an option.

"The federation wants to wait until April 30 with the decision. I can't build a team for the Swiss League then. No, it doesn't work like that," Schrepfer says in an interview with the Südostschweiz.

For Schrepfer it is clear that the Rockets' decision would have to come sooner: "Now Martigny and other clubs are signing the players that are available and have been calling us all the time lately. That's why the Swiss League doesn't make sense for us if we can't start planning until May."

EHC Arosa's head coach is already fully focused on their next season in the MyHockey League. "Now it's a matter of talking to the players immediately and creating clarity. We have to make sure that those who already have new contracts lying at home finally sign them."
