For this, EHC Chur wants to go public until spring 2023. By founding a stock company, they hope to raise at least CHF 600,000 as their Chief Financial Officer Reinhard Spahr tells the Südostschweiz.

"Our planning is based on the Swiss League. The future of the MyHockey League is uncertain from our point of view," Spahr explains. "That's why it is important that we lay the economic and structural foundations for a promotion to the next higher league at an early stage."

The idea is to transfer the first team and the catering business to the stock company. Now, Spahr hopes that the members will support this idea. "If there's no such support or even resistance, which I don't think there will be, I don't know what the future of EHC Chur will look like."
