Karim Bouchareb is a product of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' organization and has, on a professional level, only ever played for them. He did already play some games in the MyHockey League last season, suiting up in three games for SC Lyss.
This past season, the forward appeared in 16 games for HCC but he did not put his name on the scoresheet. He also played in 13 games for their U20 team, putting up 17 goals and 13 assists.
