The first Swiss player to compete in the Premier Hockey Federation (formerly known as the NWHL) is also the first Swiss player to win it. Last night, Evelina Raselli, former forward for the Ladies Lugano and SC Reinach, and her team, the Boston Pride, defeated the Connecticut Whale 4-2.

Raselli scored the 2-2 equalizer in the third period. Just 17 seconds later, her teammate Taylor Wenczkowski put the Pride ahead by one. The Whale were unable to answer.

This is the third time the Pride have won the Isobel Cup in seven years. In addition, they are the first back-to-back champions.
