IIHF World Junior Championship

The final roster of Switzerland for the 2023 World Junior Championship is set.

Darren Boss (EHC Biel), Simone Terraneo (HC Ambrì-Piotta), Joel Henry (GCK/ZSC Lions), and Mattheo Reinhard (EHC Biel) did not make the final cut for the tournament and will have to travel back to Switzerland.

“It was not an easy decision for me and my staff. All the players have done their best to stay with us since arriving in Canada. I would like to thank the players who have to travel home for their commitment,” head coach Marco Bayer states. The Swiss team will start their tournament on Monday at 17:00 CET.
