Swiss Women's Hockey Cup

Thanks to a 5-2 victory over SC Reinach, the Lions Frauen have won the Swiss Women's Hockey Cup for the third time in a row and for the ninth time in club history.

At the "Final Four Weekend" in Langenthal, the Lionesses first defeated the HC Ladies Lugano (1-0), before they decided Sunday's final against SC Reinach in front of 300 spectators in their favor (5-2). It was Isabel Waidacher, Lisa Rüedi, Dominique Rüegg (x2), and Linn Fäsch who scored the goals for the Lions Frauen.

In the race for the Championship title, the Lionesses currently sit at the top of the standings. On February 16, they will play their final Masterround game before entering the playoffs in the following week.
