Frautschi has been part of the coaching staff of the women's national team since 2014. In June it was already announced that the former national team player would no longer be in the coaching staff of the ZSC Lions. Instead, she will now be part of the GCK Lions' (SWHL B) coaching staff.
Melanie Häfliger, for her part, already worked for the SIHF as she figured as U18 national team's assistant coach. While Häfliger will now move to a new position within Swiss Ice Hockey, she will remain the head coach of SC Reinach (SWHL A).
