The pairings for the 2022-23 PostFinance Women's League semifinals are set. Regular season - and Women's Cup winner ZSC Lions Frauen will face off versus the Thurgau Ladies. Thurgau was on the verge of missing out on the playoffs due to a recent losing streak but managed to hold on to a three-point cushion.

The other matchup will see the HC Ladies Lugano go up against EV Bomo Thun. In recent years, Lugano used to enjoy home-ice advantage for at least the first round, but not this time around, as they only managed to get in third during the regular season. Thun, on the other hand, came very close to catching the first-placed Lions, only missing out by three points.

For the SC Langenthal Damen - who almost managed to squeeze into the playoffs -, the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy and the HCAP Girls, the season continues in a ranking round.
