As reported by the Berner Zeitung, Köbi Kölliker has resigned from his job as head coach of EV BOMO Thun after 14 months and will start a new adventure in the next few days. At the moment, however, it is not known what his new job will be. Kölliker always described his time in Thun as a "friendly service" to his long-time colleague and EV BOMO Thun's president Peter Brand and for this, he will continue to be available to the club as an advisor.
In the meantime, Kölliker is also busy organizing the first Women's Hockey Winter Classic, which should take place in Gstaad on 3 January 2021. In the open-air game, EV BOMO Thun will face the HC Lugano Ladies.
