The 25-year-old national team player has to retire from hockey for health reasons.

The defender joined the Lions from Arosa at age 17. She won the Championship with ZSC in 2012, 2013, and 2016, as well as the Cup in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. She recorded 59 points in 104 games. During this time, she developed into a national team player and was named captain at age 20.

Last spring, Altmann returned from the World Championship with a severe neck injury. After that, she was only able to wear the jersey of the Lions for three games again. Her last game was on February 16 against Neuchâtel. She contributed an assist in said game.
